Rammersweier Hof

The room was roomy and the balcony had a nice view. We also appreciated that pets were welcome. We had booked one large bed, though, and ended up with two small ones pushed together. Even so, we recommend it if you're after good value for money.

Breakfast was 7,50€ per person and had plenty of good options: cold cuts, cheese, fruit, rolls, bread, eggs and scrambled eggs, sweets, muesli, juice, and coffee. Very German, and a 9/10 from us. We paid 76€ for the double room with a balcony, with our one-year-old child. The room was on the first floor, with a little corridor leading to the bathroom, which looked out over the bedroom. There was plenty of space, though the bedroom and entry decor felt only moderately modern, maybe 6/10. The bathroom looked like it was from 40 years ago, a 1/10 visually, but it had everything we needed and was clean. It came with a hair dryer, tissues, and even a makeup mirror. The bedroom had a table, chairs, and a closet, plus balcony chairs overlooking the parking lot. Practicality gets 9/10. All together it was 91€ for the room and breakfast, so I'd give it 7.5/10. Fine for a longer stay, great as a stop on a trip.

We found bugs in the beds. When we told the staff, they said they already knew. We left after that night, pretty disappointed.

There was plenty of parking, the staff were quite friendly, and the room had enough space for four, plus a nice balcony overlooking the rear parking area. But bedbugs were in all the beds. We went to bed around 21:30, then my daughter woke at 23:00 with bites. We checked and found bugs throughout the beds. Nobody was there to help, so we had to leave at midnight and find somewhere else. They also refused to cover the extra costs caused by the incident. Horrible experience.
