The view from the window is lovely, with houses, mountains, woods, and fields all around. It’s also easy to get out for a walk or a bike ride, and there’s a dinosaur museum nearby. Inside, the hotel is clean, warm, and has what you need for a comfortable stay, including cozy beds, a bath, a shower, and a cafe. What made it especially memorable was the feeling of German history in the place and the owners’ kindness. Jenny, Benjamin, and Sasha were generous and helpful, and gave us the chance to stay here for free. We’re from Ukraine. It’s a great spot for a weekend, a holiday, or a longer stay, for families with kids and people of any age who value comfort, nature, and good service. This hotel is awesome!

The restaurant was exceptionally good, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy and full of character, in a quaint house that’s 400 years old.

At the VfL Kirchheim Knights' home games, I regularly come across catering from the Landgasthof am Königsweg. Most of the time, the food is a real letdown. The standard is generally very low, and dishes are often bland and seem carelessly prepared. The meat also makes me wonder whether good quality ingredients are being used. Even basic things like potatoes can be a disaster, either rock hard or completely overcooked. It’s especially inconsistent, with the food simply bad in 9 out of 10 cases. That’s a real disgrace for catering in the sponsor area. The onion roast beef was one occasional exception and was acceptable, but it doesn’t change my very poor impression overall. Something urgently needs to be done. I can’t recommend this catering service at the moment.
