The dinner menu has plenty of variety, with traditional dishes prepared really well and usually served with a nice helping of vegetables on the side. Breakfast is a smaller buffet, but everything tasted fresh. The rooms are spacious, the mattresses are comfortable, and the property is clean, quiet, and well looked after. The decor could be more modern, though it had what I needed for a comfortable stay. Ask for a lakeview room. The welcoming service also makes it a good fit for a business trip.

The food was okay and the view was nice, but the older waiter really spoiled our evening. My meal came with potatoes and zucchini, and when I asked to swap the potatoes for another vegetable, he yelled at me in front of all the guests and my kids, saying I hadn't ordered properly. I ordered in German, so there wasn't a language problem. He took my plate away and brought back the same meal without the potatoes. I didn't have the energy to ask where the other side was. I thought he was going to have a heart attack. Maybe I was just unlucky, but the beer I ordered was flat. At least I wasn't charged for it. For 80€ I'd rather pay and get a smiling waiter, and you can find better service elsewhere.

There’s lots of beautiful nature around the lake, and the hotel is in a perfect spot. The people were friendly, the service was good, and the kitchen was outstanding. It’s a really nice place that I’d recommend to all my friends.

The main hotel is just along the road, with a stunning view from the terrace over the lake to the hills beyond. The pension itself is clean and tidy, just what you need after a long day of travel, and it doesn’t cost silly money.
