The basement apartment was spotless, with comfortable beds and a spacious living room alongside a well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom was lovely, with a large shower, washing machine, and dryer. One concern for anyone with limited mobility is the stone staircase to the entrance, which has no handrails.

I keep enjoying my return visits here, and would highly recommend this guesthouse. Mr. Hartmann is friendly, helpful, and supportive, which adds to a pleasant stay. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully furnished, and the sights are easy to reach. It's an ideal spot for a few days in the heart of Oldenburg.

The welcome was very friendly, the location is very central, and everything was clean. The old town villa from the 1920s has a nicely painted exterior, but the house is badly in need of renovation. The basement apartment's furnishings could use an update too.

From the basement apartment, Oldenburg city center is an easy walk. The place has been renovated beautifully and is sleek in appearance, with everything fully equipped.
