We enjoyed our stay very much, with enough seating for a large group and a dishwasher that came in handy. The place was quiet, and we hardly heard noise from the other floors, which are on different levels. There was also enough room to park three cars without using the neighbors' space. A few things could be improved. The showers are cramped, and bending to pick up shampoo can turn off the tap. Getting hot water on the lower floor was difficult. The glass built into the doors makes them vibrate unpleasantly in their frames when the air pressure changes. I'd replace those doors eventually.

The host welcomed us warmly, and the home was tidy and child-friendly. Families with small children will appreciate being able to lock the upstairs stairway door. The bathroom facilities were excellent, the view was beautiful, and Willingen and Winterberg are nearby.

We paid a good price for our stay in this holiday home in Souerland, Germany, near Winterberg. The house was well kept and clean, and it was clear a lot of care had gone into furnishing it. We had a wonderful holiday.

The host was friendly, helpful, and personable. This tastefully decorated holiday home was very clean and can sleep up to 12 people across three floors.

During our rental, the landlord simply walked into the house. On our last day, because we'd been a bit too noisy, he spent the night in his camper van outside our house.
