We had a rough weekend at this guesthouse with several couples and young children. There was no privacy, and the owner would come into the accommodation whenever he wanted. The owners were unwelcoming, and the radio could barely be turned on. If anyone made noise after 11:00 PM, the owner became verbally aggressive. We also suspect he entered our bedrooms to turn off the radiators as a budget measure. Had we seen the Zoover reviews, we wouldn't have booked. We won't return.

We rented this place two weeks ago for 25 people and 5 children. On the first evening, at 11, the landlord barged in without being asked, like a raging bull, and insulted us all because the music was too loud. There was a sound system in the bar, and people were smoking inside. He demanded we leave immediately, including our 6-month-old baby. We didn't go, and the next day the landlord called the police. The police fully agreed with us, and the landlord later came to tell us, very reluctantly, that we were allowed to stay. The atmosphere was already ruined after that first night. They said they'd walked around the house every hour to keep an eye on us, and they were demonstrably in our rooms when we weren't home. They never returned our deposit. Be warned and find somewhere else to stay!!!

For our big family celebration, we found the rooms well kept and the kitchen very well equipped. There was also a bar, with freshly tapped beer available on request, and a fireplace in the living room. What more could you ask for?

The owners were friendly, and I felt at home within five minutes. The room was lovely, with a roomy bathroom, and the decor felt cozy. It was a wonderful stay, and I'd happily come back next year.
