Hotel & Restaurant Mythos

Although we stayed at Mythos Hotel Oranienburg a while ago, I still wanted to say what a lovely experience it was. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They even invited us to dinner for free. It was a very thoughtful gesture, though we had to decline because we needed to go to bed early. It was a great stay. Thank you!

Maybe I’m just bad at figuring out a TV, but some instructions for guests would help. It took me about 20 minutes to find even one regular channel. I travel all over Germany and know it can be easier. Anyway, it’s fine for one night.

There was a lot of road noise from outside the window, and I wouldn’t want to stay there alone. The doors and locks didn’t look very secure, almost as if someone had forced them open. The room was clean and well equipped, with a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. It was okay for one night, but not somewhere I’d choose for a proper vacation.

I stayed for two nights and was satisfied. The room and bathroom were okay, and for the price it’s perfectly acceptable during trade fair season. I didn’t expect the room to be made up during such a short stay, though I don’t know what happens if you stay longer. I can’t really comment on the location or service. The connections aren’t great, but that’s clear if you do your research. If you only find out after booking how long it takes to get to the Brandenburg Gate, that’s on you.
