The breakfast was excellent, and the location worked well for us, but the stay was a real letdown for the price. We paid 290 EUR a night after talking it down from 330 EUR, and even that felt like too much value-wise for a supposed four-star hotel. We booked two nights while visiting the Ostsee. The room had no air conditioning, and there were no fans left. The balcony or terrace mentioned in the description wasn't available in our room. The bathtub didn't work, and neither did the fold-out couch for the kids. One towel was dirty and had odd stains. What bothered me most was that nobody seemed to care or even tried to check the tub or couch, despite us asking several different people more than once.

The location is really good, but the room is about all you get, and it feels pricey for that level of service. If you're hoping for a special stay with your kids or partner, I'd look somewhere else.

The spa is really nice, too. But the breakfast was the standout, the best I've had in a small hotel. Tasty food, lots of tea to choose from, and even stevia.
