Watching the "Rasender Roland" (Raging Roland) from the window is such a fun insider tip. You can lie in bed and watch the train. We felt very welcome here with our child and dog, and the host family is incredibly friendly. We've stayed several times and will always be happy to return. There's a small forest beside the house with a playground, and free parking right at the house. The place is very clean and well maintained, and the kitchen has all the cooking utensils you need. We feel comfortable and well looked after, sleep soundly, and wake up ready for more adventures. Any questions? Just ask!

We were satisfied with this simple accommodation. Check-in was relaxed, and there was a large balcony. Shops are nearby, and the bakery, which is also a cyclist café, is a 2-minute walk away. The spa train station is 2 minutes away on foot as well.

The apartment we ended up having to stay in was tiny and in poor condition, with huge stains on the couch. We'd booked a room with a balcony, but were given a different room without any warning, and that one didn't meet our expectations either. When we complained and asked to switch rooms, our request was dismissed. We definitely won't vacation here again.

The beach is no more than a 15-minute walk away. The holiday apartment is beautiful and well maintained, and the landlady is friendly. There's a bakery less than five minutes on foot, and the station for the Roland train is just around the corner.
