Ferienhaus Deichblick

We chose this house partly because of the terrace, lawn, and stone barbecue, which we’d spotted from the dike on our previous Baabe holiday. Upstairs there’s a large bathroom with a sauna and spacious shower, as well as a gallery with leather armchairs that we highly recommend. The Wi-Fi was a little weak in the small bedroom, so the chairs came in handy. The other upstairs bathroom is smaller but also has a shower. There are three bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other two with double beds. The kitchen and living room are both generously sized, with a dining area and a separate little reading nook. We were very happy with the holiday home.

We’d love to come back. It was a quiet home with a lovely view of the dike and Lake Sellin. Outside, there’s a terrace with a barbecue area and garden furniture for six. Inside, the functional layout includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a sauna. The living room has a big dining table and a sofa, plus there’s a separate reading room with two very comfortable armchairs. The open kitchen has a stove, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and oven, with plenty of dishes and glasses. A washing machine and dryer are in the utility room. Everything was perfect.

The house is a good vacation rental, with nice furnishings and a good location. The Wi-Fi in both bedrooms was awful, though. It kept dropping out, had constant connection problems, and showed only one bar. The speed was generally quite slow.
