From the hotel, it's an easy walk to the stop for the "Rasender Roland," and you can reach Rügen's attractions by car without trouble. The village is charming, and the beach is only a stone's throw away. We loved the varied breakfast and the dinner, which suited us perfectly. Our room was pleasant and practical, and the sauna area, though small, was attractive. Even with our late arrival, the staff greeted us warmly and had a cold platter waiting. A perfect stay.

Our room was clean, with the shower in the bathtub. The staff were super friendly. We got stuck in traffic, but they waited for us until 10 pm and even brought us something to eat.

The hotel's in a great spot, almost on the beach while still right in town. We've stayed here three times with the family, and Seestern is our favorite hotel on Rügen. It's good for kids, the staff are friendly and helpful, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets are plentiful and tasty. We'll be back!

The beach is just around the corner, the little spa gardens are lovely, and you can get to lots of places on foot. We even get to hear the steam locomotive whistle regularly ❤️ That's why, of all the BSW hotels we know, this is our favorite. We've stayed three times, in 2022, 2023, and 2025, and we're always glad to return. The hotel is a bit dated, though renovations are planned. That's my only small criticism. The staff are consistently friendly and great with children, and they really try to make everyone's stay pleasant. We've heard a few complaints from other guests, but some people just seem to look for things to fault. And we really can't understand the complaints about the room service at all (see photo).
