Villa Waldblick

Great.

We left after just one week, though we’d booked for two weeks in September 2025. It was cool, but the landlady wouldn’t leave the heating on. Even an hour a day would have been enough, but as a disabled person I found it simply too cold, so I bought a space heater to warm the main room a little. We’d paid for final cleaning, yet were still expected to clean when we left. The Wi-Fi was slow and unstable, making streaming, working and even WhatsApp impossible. We were told to use the neighbor’s supposedly stable Wi-Fi, but we didn’t because that would be illegal. Even after we asked, the router wasn’t reset, not even by turning it off and on. The landlady didn’t seem to care. She said she’d already received the money and nothing else mattered. Zero stars, never again.

Baabe was quiet and not overcrowded, and the apartment was about 900 meters from the beach. The owners were super nice. Whether we called with a silly question or needed help from the caretaker, they treated us politely and kindly, and were accommodating. The apartment is small but nice, with everything you could want, including an oven and microwave in the kitchen.

We were one person with a dog, and the apartment was clean and perfectly adequate for us. Booking and arrival were straightforward, easy and friendly. It’s in a perfect, central location, about a 10-minute walk from the beach, with a bakery right around the corner and grocery stores within walking distance. Everything you need is close by. We’d love to come back.
