We stumbled across this place by chance, tucked away in a courtyard, and would gladly visit again. I can only speak for the beer garden and kitchen, but everything we had was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The service was attentive, too. A bit more advertising from the beach area might help people find it.

We didn't even get to try the food. The server was unfriendly and didn't greet us at all, just told us not to push the chairs together or we could leave right away. We did as she asked. This place is for people who don't care about restaurant service.

We were absolutely delighted with dinner at Waldidyll today. The butterfish was excellent, the beer was good, and the service was very friendly.

I only visited the restaurant and beer garden. We had a lovely evening in a charming, rustic place with a really cozy beer garden and a great atmosphere. The service was warm, funny, and super friendly. The food was simple and delicious, at unusually reasonable prices for this area. They prepare the fried potatoes right in the middle of the beer garden, and they’re grilled and served on tap. A quiet, peaceful insider tip if that's what you're after.
