The location worked perfectly for us, with the beach only about 200 meters away, and parking available too. Our room had a balcony, and everything was very clean. We slept really well, the mattress suited us perfectly, and the staff were always friendly. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was just right for us, with delicious coffee. We were entirely satisfied, would gladly stay again, and can highly recommend the hotel.

Getting to the beach, promenade, shops, bus stops, and resort train stops from Hotel Merkur takes just a few minutes. We felt completely at ease and are grateful for such a lovely stay. The big-balcony room was a treat and spotlessly clean. We always enjoy coming back to Hotel Merkur, and had nothing to complain about this time either. The food deserves five stars, starting with breakfast. Service is clearly a priority: the staff are friendly and polite, and do their best to meet every request. We really appreciate being made to feel like guests, and would love to return.

We've eaten here several times over the past few years, and the food has always been fresh and delicious. The service was consistently warm and attentive, always with a smile, and they were happy to make the kids' requests work.

We can't speak to the hotel itself, but we were here in February 2019 and were really sad to learn the lovely restaurant had closed. The food was delicious and the service incredibly friendly. We understand that the owner couldn't find staff and, for health reasons, could no longer run everything by herself. Still, it's a real shame.

We ate here in June 2015 and really enjoyed the meal. The fish and turkey were delicious, and the sauces were fantastic. The cozy place has a Titanic theme and offers good value for money.
