Pension Am Klünderberg

We'd love to come back for a few days. The rooms were clean and had a small refrigerator, and the guesthouse felt small but cozy. It's about a 10-minute walk to the beautiful beach. The host was especially friendly and helpful, gave us great tips, and made us feel very welcome.

The location is quiet and gives easy access to both the city center and the Baltic Sea. The guesthouse is right at the “Klünderberg Parking Lot” bus stop, though the walk up the “hill” is a bit of a climb. Rooms are clean and have what you need, and you can ask for a hairdryer. Breakfast is generous.

We came back to this guesthouse for the second time this year, after also enjoying our first stay in 2020. The owner was just as friendly, considerate, and understanding as before, especially when our daughter got sick and we had to leave earlier than planned. The room had all we needed for an overnight stay: a small bathroom with shower, toilet, and sink, towels and bed linen, and enough room for a double bed and travel cot. There's also a TV and Wi-Fi if you want a relaxing evening. Breakfast is nicely laid out each day, and you can help yourself. Uwe asks what you'd like to drink each morning and brings it to your table, a thoughtful touch you can't take for granted. The guesthouse is on the main road, which isn't too busy, and not far from the beach. There's a nearby playground where free-roaming rabbits can be found. Binz beach is beautiful and very clean, and the town is clean too. Watch your food around the seagulls, they're cheeky and greedy. We'll definitely return next year. We love it here too much.

Breakfast was too cold a room to enjoy in peace, and the buffet felt too small. Some apples were already starting to rot, and the price seemed €4 too high. The bathroom was much too cramped: when I stepped out of the shower, one foot was in the toilet bowl. The towels were old and stiff, and leaving felt like being thrown out.
