Villa Mona Lisa

We booked several small apartments in the hotel’s annex, Villa Mona Lisa. They varied in size, were well equipped, recently renovated, and each had a small kitchen. The reception staff were very friendly, and the rooms were cleaned every day. Parking has to be booked separately, and that’s a good idea because spaces are very scarce. The building is at the end of the main street, just a short walk from the pier. We were very satisfied and would happily stay again.

There’s plenty of space in the Comfort Apartment for a family of four, and it’s generously furnished with everything we needed. The beach, lake, bakery, and shops are all within walking distance. There’s also a charging station for electric cars. We’d gladly come back.

The apartment was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was good. We stayed on the third floor of Hotel Central. The kitchen was too small for cooking, and parking was tricky: the spaces are very tight, especially when a van is in the driveway and you need to turn. Getting a larger vehicle in takes some skill. At night, the wind makes a clicking sound up on the third floor, like a flag tapping, though there isn't one nearby. Otherwise, everything was fine.

The furnishings are okay, though they're showing their age. Room 301's bathroom is another matter. With that sloping ceiling, you can hardly shower unless you're no taller than 80 cm. Better bring a helmet.
