Haus Mittagsruh-Göhren

We only spent a weekend there, but would gladly come back. The old house is lovely, clean, and well furnished, with a peaceful setting and a beautiful view. It was easy to find, and everything we needed was within walking distance. The countryside around it is lovely in every direction. Silke and Heiko

Over Christmas, we stayed at Haus Göhren and came away very disappointed. The outside looked neglected, nothing like the well-kept impression in the online photos. Inside, there was a horrible manure smell, and the toilet was in such a state that the bathroom was unusable. The toilet brush and its holder were filthy, and there was dust everywhere. That was completely unacceptable to us. We complained to the landlord. His decidedly unacceptable final cleaning team replaced the brush and holder, but left the dirty toilet as it was. The landlord brushed us off, saying he'd inspect it more closely next time he visited. Thanks for nothing. The manure smell was the only issue they dealt with. With more attention to basic hygiene and a fresh coat of paint in places, the apartment could be quite nice despite its age. As it is, we definitely do NOT recommend it. Sorry, but that's how it is.

The hosts made us feel so welcome. They were super friendly and had everything ready for our arrival, including warm rooms, flowers on the tables, and lots of thoughtful little touches. Wonderful, and thank you.

We felt very comfortable in apartment three. It's individually furnished, and the balcony view stretches all the way to the coast of Usedom. The building itself is well maintained.
