Inselhotel Rügen

We were even allowed to leave our car for a few hours after checkout, thanks to the owner’s kindness. We had a very nice two-night stay at the Inselhotel. Its central location is great, with just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, perfect for an early morning stroll. The room was cozy and clean, though darker curtains would help since the sun wakes you very early. Breakfast had a good range of classics like scrambled eggs, cheese, ham, and homemade bread spreads. Recommended!

The team deserves a big compliment. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Parking was excellent too, which made arrival relaxed and isn’t always a given on Rügen. We especially loved the homemade jam at breakfast, made with such care. Our stay at the Inselhotel Rügen was a complete success. We’d love to come back and wholeheartedly recommend it!

A yearly highlight for us is the New Year’s Eve gala dinner, prepared and served with such attention to detail. The quality, service, and atmosphere impress us every time. This was our 14th New Year’s Eve at the Inselhotel Göhren, usually about three days with different friends and acquaintances. Before we leave, we regularly reserve at least five double rooms for the next visit, and the booking process afterward is always easy, reliable, and pleasant. For all these years, the senior generation of the Riffel family has been consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, present without being intrusive. The younger generation has managed the hotel successfully for the past two years, with the seniors’ continued support. The handover has felt smooth and harmonious. We hope to return for many more years and are already looking forward to our next New Year’s Eve at the Inselhotel Göhren.

We felt very comfortable during our short break at the Inselhotel in Göhren and can highly recommend it. It’s a small family-run hotel with a warm welcome, and the place is quiet, modern, and very clean. Sustainability matters a lot to us, so we appreciated that. Breakfast was included and delicious, with options for every taste, sweet or savory, including homemade jams. The hotel is near the center and train station, and Göhren has plenty of places to eat.
