Villa Seefisch

We were unsure after seeing the negative reviews, but none of those problems came up for us. We were welcomed warmly, and getting the key was easy. Our apartment in Villa Seefisch was spacious, spotless, and well cared for, with a kitchen that had everything we needed, even a toaster. We could also lock our bikes in an outbuilding. It worked especially well for a holiday with a dog. A wooded path goes from the house to the path down to Göhren, and the beach is only a few minutes away on foot. You do have to walk down a hill or take the elevator. We had a lovely stay and would gladly return.

The location was fantastic, and the apartment was very clean, contrary to the hygiene complaints we’d read beforehand. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we felt right at home. One mattress had springs you could feel, but putting an extra blanket under the sheet made it manageable. We’d happily stay again and recommend it ☺️.

The location, apartments, and view deserve five stars from me. A few things let the stay down, though: it took several minutes for hot water to come through reliably in the shower, and a lot of the dishes were dirty or still sitting unwashed in the dishwasher. At this price, that shouldn’t happen.

Apartment 4 felt like home as soon as I arrived. It was clean, had all the basic things I needed, and everything worked. The south-facing terrace gets sun all day, and there’s a parking space right in front of the house. I’d gladly come back.
