The stair pillars are finished, but unfortunately they’re just sitting there loosely. My wife...

The kitchen was very small but okay. The bedroom had only a French bed, and the wardrobe door wouldn’t open all the way. The balcony was nice, but there was no parking space near the house.

Those carved seats from the 1920s make it impossible to settle in with a book or watch TV comfortably. Lean back and you hit the frame. That's an imposition. I know cozy holiday accommodation, and this isn't it.

The living room had dark upholstered furniture that was uncomfortable and worn out. The bedroom was cramped, with two single beds pushed together, slatted bases, and worn mattresses. The feather pillows were uncomfortable too, with some feathers already poking through the covers. The bathroom and kitchenette were okay.
