Baltische Residenzen Villa Rex am Meere

We’ve stayed in the Schilfrohr apartment three times, and each visit has been very satisfying. It’s even being refurbished. On New Year’s Eve, our balcony felt like a VIP viewing spot, with a direct look at the fireworks from the Sellin Bridge. Ms. Friesen from the Baltic Residences was also very friendly and helpful. The villa sits right on the national park’s high bank and has a lovely open sea view. It’s peaceful, while Wilhelmstraße’s restaurants, shops, and the pier are only about five minutes away. The historic building and its holiday apartments are beautiful, and there’s a great wellness area. One thing to keep in mind: there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to manage some stairs. It’s beautiful here in any season.

We were welcomed so warmly when we arrived in the middle of the night. The apartment was beautiful, and we’re very grateful for the lovely time we got to spend here.

We had a lovely apartment on the second floor, with a great view over the pier and Baltic Sea. I’d highly recommend it. The downside is the stairs. There’s no elevator, so you need to be comfortable walking them: we counted 42 steps inside and another 16 up to the building.

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. It’s in a quiet spot and has a great view of the Baltic Sea.
