Comforts Near Seaside Charm

The apartment is thoughtfully laid out and comfortably furnished, and the complex is very nice. The only downside is the stairs: without an elevator, hauling luggage to and from the second floor is a chore, especially for older guests.

Ilsebill turned out to be just what we hoped for, with everything a guest could want and TVs in every room. We booked the holiday home in Gager on Rügen through Ferienanlagen Rügen and were among the first guests, almost like testers. Even with our last-minute change requests, the booking went smoothly. The owners were friendly, professional, and accommodating from the initial booking through departure. They replied promptly to every question and request, and the personal contact was very pleasant. We'd happily stay again.

The setting in the harbor was fantastic, and the beach and hiking in the Mönchgut nature reserve are close by. We also enjoyed the fresh local food, especially the daily catch from Thom's (Thomas) fishing hut. My family and I stayed at the Butje Butje holiday home in Gager on Rügen, and both the booking and the house itself were excellent. It's attractive and packed with amenities: a bright living room with views on three sides and straight out to the harbor, TVs in every room, a DVD player, stereo, superb kitchen, sauna, fireplace, built-in barbecue, parasol, and a large private garden. The landlord, facilities, service, and very friendly communication from the booking agent were all excellent. We'd gladly come back. Keep it up!

The apartment was great, with bread delivery and a children's playground with mini-golf right outside. Mornings were quite noisy.
