Ferienhäuser Pendorf

The only real drawback was the time of year. Many restaurants were closed and there wasn’t much going on, though the lovely accommodation more than made up for it. It’s a beautiful holiday home with every comfort, from the great furnishings and comfortable beds to the fantastic bathroom with its spacious layout. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts were very friendly and everything was excellently organized.

House Jule sits in a lovely quiet spot between the Baltic Sea at Sellin seaside resort and Lake Sellin, with the main shopping street still only a short walk away. The free little tourist train stops nearby and goes to the town center, the pier, and the south beach. There’s a private playground with a climbing tower, swings, and a small sandbox, plus sand toys and even a ride-on toy car. The garden has a seating area, sun loungers, and a barbecue. Inside, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are two bathrooms: one downstairs with a shower, and a luxurious upstairs one with a sauna, corner bathtub, and spacious shower. Three bedrooms have box-spring beds, made-up beds, and hand and bath towels. Families will find a high chair, potty, children's cutlery, plastic dishes, a step stool for the sink, and a stair gate upstairs. Parking, a washing machine, and a dishwasher are provided too. A dream holiday home.

The house is in a great spot for exploring Sellin. It’s about a five-minute walk to the bakery, which has delicious baked goods, especially the sea buckthorn cake, and Wilhelmstrasse with its restaurants and the route to the pier. The south beach takes around ten minutes on foot, and Selin harbor with its fishing boats is about five minutes away. There’s lots to do nearby, and it’s a good base for bike rides. The area is quiet, although there’s a construction site behind the house at the moment. It didn’t bother us much since we were out a lot. Parking is available, and the owners are friendly and easy to reach. We had a lovely time, even with rather autumnal weather. The east-facing terrace has an awning, a brick divider from the neighbor, a table with four chairs, and two sun loungers. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining area and opens onto a small west-facing seating spot. In the living room there are large XXL armchairs and a sofa. There’s also a washing machine and clothes rack. The bedrooms are on the small side, but fine for sleeping: one has a 1.80 m double bed, the other a 1.60 m one. Upstairs is a very large bathroom with a sauna, which we didn’t use, a rain shower, two sinks, and children’s amenities. Downstairs there’s a small guest toilet with a shower.

The house is in a quiet holiday and residential area. A child traveling with us, aged 7, said, "This isn't a holiday apartment, it's a luxury apartment!" The beds were really comfortable, even with the nightly struggle with the sheets. The Edeka supermarket and playground are easy to reach on foot, and there’s also a small playground on the premises. It’s a short trip to the large parking lot for the resort train, with the "Rasender Roland" just a few steps farther. My one small complaint for a multi-star property is that a few details could have been cleaner, with cobwebs and dust.
