That balcony terrace was unusable for us. The restaurant flue ends about 190 cm above it, and at least in early May the smoke spread across the whole terrace and seeped into the apartment, even with all windows and interior doors shut. The living room, hall, and bedroom kept smelling of smoke. If that doesn't bother you, it's a great apartment; for others it could ruin the holiday. The owner shut down any response and wouldn't take responsibility when I raised it. Without the smoke, I'd give it five stars, but it made the stay unbearable for some, so I can only give three. Such a shame. We stayed in the largest top-floor apartment, for 2-6 people, with my girlfriend. It had a wonderful view, stylish modern furnishings that suited six people, and excellent amenities. The bathroom was fully equipped with a shower and bathtub. Parking is quite far away, which is normal in Sellin, but it's great that you can easily add it on. You can also get a linen package for an extra fee. Booking through Booking.com was easy, and we paid online in advance. The keys were in a key safe at the entrance, and someone was available in person in the mornings. Be aware if you have limited mobility: access is by one very narrow staircase, with some spiral sections, so it's difficult with crutches. The apartment is advertised with a coffee machine. I asked on Booking.com whether it needed ground coffee, pods, or something else, but never got a reply.

The location and kitchen equipment are the only reasons I'd give this place two stars. Communication with the owner was awful. We were billed for bed linens and towels that we never received, even after asking several times. Nobody could explain other charges on the bill, and our questions were brushed off rudely. The furniture looked comfortable but was cheap and hard. I can't recommend the accommodation. I'm just glad the weather was so beautiful that the good holiday memories outweighed the bad. Addendum: Thank you, Ms. Dörp, for your reply. It rather confirms what I said about communication. Of course families can have different surnames. Calling that slander, and acting as if you couldn't possibly have done anything wrong, is beyond belief.

The kitchen had everything for cooking, and the apartment was spotless. It was a lovely holiday place, furnished with a lot of care.

The building's sauna is well worth using, and there was affordable parking too. The apartment was spotless and nicely furnished, with a central location that made it easy to get to the beach and shops. Thanks for a lovely stay. We'll definitely return.
