The setting is hard to beat, right in the heart of Sellin with the beach, shops, and restaurants close by. Our place was bright and spotlessly clean, and the extra food package we'd ordered was waiting in the kitchen. We could enjoy a quiet start or end to the day on our own balcony, even though the apartment block is on a lively central street with parking. Checking in was effortless: a code came to our phone so we could get the apartment key. It made for a beautiful stay, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The buildings' spa architecture, dating to around 1900, gives the area a lovely step-back-in-time feeling. We stayed in room 5 at Haus Fernsicht in Sellin from March 15th to March 22nd, 2025, and would gladly return. It was a well-kept, quiet two-room apartment with a very large balcony, an elevator, and a parking space. Check-in came with a friendly welcome. We also enjoyed the ground-floor Café Fräulein Honig, where everyone was friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

The building has an elevator, which matters for older guests, and there's a parking space. The holidaymakers just need to park in the right positions so everyone can fit. We'd be glad to come back again and again.

The apartment itself is magical, in a wonderful villa, and we've stayed at Villa Fernsicht several times in different apartments, always happily. But since the café opened on the ground floor, the quiet has gone. Music is played at full volume from 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings and other weekdays too, so sleeping is impossible. After guests complained loudly, it was turned down a little. Until something changes, we'll stay somewhere else.

Right by the promenade, we had a wonderful holiday. The apartment was spotless and had everything we could need. Absolutely fantastic!
