Villa Rosa - Apt. 10

We stayed in apartment 6, which was very nice, in a beautiful, clean building with an elevator. It also has lots of balconies. The underground garage could use clearer instructions. Your car needs to be the right height, width, and length to get in, and the layout of the spaces for driving up and down isn’t obvious. If the neighbor with the space above us hadn’t come over to explain it, we wouldn’t have worked it out.

Villa Rosa, Apartment 1 The apartment was extremely expensive, yet housekeeping and customer service were nonexistent. Never again. They’re trying to get the Google review removed. Zero stars. The toilet didn’t work: water kept running and the cistern kept emptying, with feces still visible, and nobody fixed it. The guest toilet’s drain plug was missing and it constantly smelled of urine. There were used, disgusting toilet brushes and silverfish in the bathroom. The terrace was neglected and full of weeds, unlike the clean terrace next door. There was no parasol at first; after a lot of back-and-forth it eventually arrived, since the property manager couldn’t make decisions. The missing sun loungers came later too. Other guests walk right beside you on the stairs, with no privacy screen. The garage barely fits an Audi A6, with a serious risk of scratches. In the storage room, the Miele vacuum smelled like vomit when turned on, and its suction tube had broken plastic with sharp edges that cut my hand. The clothes rack was broken and taped together, and the broom was broken too. The master bedroom mattresses were worn out and gave me back pain, so I needed physiotherapy. Seewind only communicated by email and WhatsApp. They acted and contacted me personally about the toilet only after I threatened legal action. A Polish guy arrived with a Lidl toolbox, poured descaler into the broken toilet, couldn’t repair it, then left without offering further help.

For what it costs, there was far too little service. I’ve stayed in plenty of vacation apartments, but this had by far the worst customer service, and I won’t return. The second room didn’t have a proper mattress, just cheap foam rubber. Since we sleep separately, we had to replace it. When we asked about everyday basics like garbage bags, coffee, or a full bottle of dish soap, the answer was, “Where can I find those?” followed by the reminder that this was a vacation apartment. The spa cards weren’t left in the apartment either. The parking setup was awful: it’s an electric spot shared by two cars. There weren’t even proper professional cleaning products. The vacuum cleaner kept falling apart, the curtains had stains and needed washing, and the furnishings didn’t feel high quality. The TV wasn’t easy to use as you’d expect, with a handwritten, completely unsorted list showing where the channels were. I’ve never experienced so little service for so much money.

We were three people in apartment 15 Seestern and found it clean, with a smooth key pickup and return. The location was fantastic, about a minute from the pier, and the bakery was an easy walk away. There was parking, though it’s a little narrow, so drive in carefully. The value was excellent, and we’d definitely come back.
