The breakfast was great, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. The à la carte food is overpriced, though. I’ve never complained about “the youth” before, but the pool is meant to be for ages 16 and up from 18:00 to 22:00. I don’t mind when that rule usually isn’t enforced. At 21:00, though, my very pregnant wife, or anyone else in her position, should be able to swim without worrying about being kicked in the stomach by accident.

The beach is fabulous when the weather cooperates, and clear-sky sunsets are something to see with a drink from the beach hut, hot or cold. There’s food for all the tastes I could think of, and Achterdeck burger is one of my favorites. It’s a lovely town for strolling and eating local food, with hotels that are generally good quality. The whole area is high on my list of places I’d recommend visiting at least once.

We had a wonderful family holiday, and the staff were great. The room was huge for a family and close to the Baltic Sea. The kids got a little toy bear, and there was a bottle of sparkling wine in the room for my birthday. Breakfast had lots of choices, including made-to-order omelettes and waffles. A really enjoyable stay.

The staff really know how to make you feel welcome, and the beach is only 60 meters away. Such a lovely hotel, easily worth 10 stars! I can’t wait to go back 😍👍

The room had a nice view, and the staff were friendly. The spa area was nice too, with a small gym. My room was a little worn, though, with a very old, small TV and carpet held down with tape.
