Hotel Restaurant Parthenon

The Greek salad was fresh, full of flavor, and generous, easily among the best I’ve had in years, even compared with Athens. We also had grilled chicken with tomato and feta, baked with a traditional Greek sauce and served with fries and arugula. It was a huge, hearty plate and delicious. The homemade Greek bread was warm, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. We got there a little late, just before the kitchen was due to close, but they welcomed us and let us eat without rushing us. Most places nearby were already closed. The staff were kind and attentive, and the family feel made the evening personal and comforting. There may not be many restaurant options around Otterberg or Otterbach, but this place stands out for both the food and hospitality. The evening meant a lot to us, and we’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

I wish I lived closer so I could come more often. This restaurant is highly recommended: the best food I’ve had in Germany, and definitely among the best compared with Greece.

Delicious Greek food in a great little place.

The food was tasty, with no complaints overall. I had the Orpheus plate. The fries were good but needed salt, and the tzatziki was really refreshing. The gyro was chopped, and I think it was chicken, so it wasn’t the traditional lamb you’d get shaved from a Greek spitz. The lamb and souvlaki were great, and the rice and veggies were super tasty. They took the time to plate a to-go order, which impressed me. The decor inside was amazing. They don’t speak English, so bring a translator app. It didn’t really matter, though, and we are in Germany, sooo. Anywho, you should try this place.
