Ferienhaus Scholien

We found it to be an ideal place to stay while exploring and going for walks. The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a lovely garden and a central location. The owners are friendly and really attentive. It felt like home, and we’d happily give it a definite plus.

We were sorry to have to head back to work so soon, and we have no complaints about the stay. Communication was excellent from the start, and we’d gladly return, either on our own or with family. Haus Scholien had loads of space, plenty of seating, and a huge flat-screen TV with surround sound. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, with a big selection of dishes and glasses, and everything was in good condition. The Grohe Blue system kept fresh sparkling mineral water flowing, a real treat, similar to SodaStream. They’d also thought of little ones, with a high chair and a safety gate for toddlers. We lacked nothing.

We spent a lovely time slowing down by the Medem, sitting in the garden and enjoying the seating area by the river. It was peaceful, almost like meditation, and left us longing for the sea. The whole stay was just right: clean, well equipped, and every agreement was honored exactly. Excellent value for money. We’ll be back. A. Scheffler

The house was GREAT!!!!! Really clean and nicely furnished. The one downside was the robotic mower going wild all weekend, which made trying to nap on the grass a bit of a challenge 🤣🤣
