This holiday home is well suited to a private group trip. It has six double rooms, each with its own bathroom, toilet, and balcony, plus a few extra children’s rooms if needed. There’s a terrace and a huge living area with another toilet. The kitchenette is fully equipped, and the owners are friendly. Bread rolls can be delivered, and there are two restaurants within walking distance, though they take turns having days off. It’s very peaceful here. Getting around without a car takes some stamina, and there isn’t much else nearby. There’s Wi-Fi too, and we could easily play music from Amazon Music, for example.

A proper Allgäu guesthouse, just what you’d hope to find. The hosts are super friendly and easygoing. Rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and balconies offering great views. Breakfast had everything we could want. Definitely recommend it!

Mittelberg is worth seeing in any weather, whether it’s sunny, rainy, or snowing, and there are lots of outdoor activities. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, cleaner than many five star hotels. Warm, helpful hosts made the stay both relaxing and full of things to do. I’m already looking forward to going back.

We’d love to come back. The hostess was incredibly kind and welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the mountain view was fantastic.
