Hotel Manu

I can’t recommend this hotel or its rude staff. The Wi-Fi was rubbish, the air conditioning didn’t work, and my wife had no hot water in the morning. There were no family rooms despite what the booking platforms advertised, and the room wasn’t cleaned during the day. We left the bin specifically in the hallway, but it still hadn’t been emptied by the end of the day. When my wife asked reception for a new battery for the AC remote, to see if that might be the issue, she was basically told it couldn’t be the problem and to deal with it. The staff’s tone when we complained was extremely unprofessional and rude. After they heard we’d complained to the booking platform that the room didn’t match the advertisement, they “suggested” we check out the next day, before the date we’d paid for. They also started whining that we hadn’t said our 10-month-old was staying and that we should pay extra for the child and breakfast. What from a breakfast buffet is a 10-month-old going to eat?!

A very nice place to stay in Paderborn, with very friendly staff. If you’re Indian, you can ask for lovely Indian food prepared to your preference.

The hotel is a little far from the city centre and right on the main road, but they accommodated an early check-in and included free parking and breakfast. Breakfast was simple, though you could have eggs cooked the way you like. The only setback was noise from the bar at night.

It’s an old-style hotel with good people and a great breakfast. The sound insulation isn’t enough, I could hear both neighbouring rooms.
