Boutique Hotel Morgentau

The room was a pleasant surprise, even though it wasn't what I had pictured. It has a big bed, decent space, a small cupboard for clothes, and a neat clothes rack hanging from the ceiling. The bathroom is a good size, with a large shower. I liked the honesty bar, though I hope there's a camera. Staff are friendly and helpful with information, but they leave at 17.30, so they explain how to get in if you're arriving late. My colleague had a lovely river view; mine wasn't so good. The location is great, and since I sometimes work nearby, I'll definitely stay here again.

We stayed for one night on Aug 31. The room was cozy and very clean, but it was too warm, and the window barely opened, so there was hardly any ventilation. The lighting was so dim we couldn't read at night. I understand historic buildings can have electrical limits, but the lights need upgrading to low voltage LED, and the windows should allow more air in when it's hot.

The river was right there, with good restaurants nearby, and the hotel was well located. Check-in was easy, the room was comfortable and very clean, and we enjoyed the nice breakfast. We loved our stay and the beautiful views from the rooms.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was clean, beautiful, and one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. We booked a river view expecting just a window, then opened the door to a spacious room with an enclosed sunroom balcony. The staff were great too. We had an early train the next morning and had been gone a day, and they went the extra mile by watching our bags so we didn't have to carry them around. Thank you for everything!
