Alpinchalets Oberjoch

The chalets are cozy and nicely decorated, made entirely of wood, with a fireplace and a lovely sauna. The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing, and the staff are polite and friendly. Zwolf restaurant serves very good food, and breakfast has a nice variety. They offer free cakes from 2 until 4, and in the evening there’s piano music along with cheese, grapes, nuts, and jam. It’s a bit expensive, and most menus and tourist information are only available in German. There’s no lunch at the hotel, though to be fair, the main bar has some snacks and there’s a buffet with a few salads and soups.

The spacious room had a great view, and breakfast was super nice. Everything else was super awesome, but the Wi-Fi in the room barely worked. It was snowing the whole time, so we stayed in our room or the hotel lobby, and our stay would have been much nicer if the connection had worked. That’s the only reason I’m taking off a star. I don’t understand how such a high-end hotel can have such poor internet in the rooms.

The chalets are amazing, each with a private sauna, chimney and hot bath. Breakfast was high quality and delivered to the chalet every morning. It’s a unique experience that’s worth the price, and only 200meters from the ski lifts at the oberjoch ski resort.

I think this is an excellent hotel. The staff in every department were perfect, which matters a lot to me. Congratulations on a great job. See you next time!
