Finding our room in Hotel Müllerbräu was a bit confusing because of the layout, though the staff helped us out. The hotel was impressively clean and right in the busy city center. It’s a decent option if you want a comfortable stay in a central spot.

We were a group of seven on a Friday night, and although the big place was quite full, they found us a table. They also accommodated our slightly unusual request for salad and fries to suit the vegetarians and vegans with us. The kids could have no-chicken fingers, and there were local vegetarian dishes such as spinat knodl. Those are made with cheese, unfortunately, but worth trying if that works for you. I enjoyed the large local beer and the fries too. It was very noisy with people drinking and celebrating the weekend, but the meal was good value overall.

It’s a large place, but there weren’t many guests when we were there. The rooms are very big and lovely, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast is worth having too. There was only one person providing service, but he was welcoming and very open with guests.

I was only there briefly because I had a train to catch. The wheat beer was great and the service was good. I didn’t eat, so I can’t say anything about the food.
