The only downside for me was the lack of window shades, so the rooms couldn't be darkened for a late morning sleep. Otherwise, it's a pretty place in an Allgäu style, with balconies in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and breakfast had fresh, quality local products.

The owners and staff were friendly, and we found both the room and breakfast pleasant. There wasn't a huge selection at breakfast, but it was more than enough. We spent a week at the Kalkbrennerhof and really liked the location and its surroundings. We'd recommend this hotel.

We loved the inn's holiday setting and how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Breakfast was delicious each morning. The best bit for us was Paula, the hotel's resident cat, who made the stay even sweeter 🥰 We'd definitely recommend it!
