We were more than an hour and a half late for check-in, but after we called the front desk, someone stayed so we could get in. The hosts were kind, showed us around, and let us use their hospitality room, where there was a variety of beers and wines. It was a warm, cozy place for our family of six to hang out, play games, and have drinks. The couple who help run the hotel were kind and made sure everyone had what they needed. Breakfast had something to tempt any traveler, and the clean rooms and quiet hotel made for a restful night. Excellent, friendly hosts.

The room was clean, with a nice balcony view, and I really enjoyed my two-night stay. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a great location, and it’s easy to bike to the beautiful spots nearby.

The place is right beside Steinach train station, which makes it an easy place to stay in Pfronten. The windows have beautiful views, the service is courteous, and the dining area is well equipped. Everything was decorated with care, and the rooms and shared spaces were clean and well looked after. Wi-Fi, hot water, and hassle-free entry were all there. They gave me a Pfronten Stadt card for local trains and buses, which was really useful. There’s also a guest lounge, and you can take food you’ve grown during your stay back with you, which are nice special touches. Breakfast was great, especially the tasty croissants. I really liked how helpful the hosts were. Highly recommend.

A funicular up the mountain right next door was a nice surprise. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are only 20 minutes away by car.
