Rebgarten Hotel Adler

The rooms have a cute, vintage feel. The hotel seems charming, though some amenities that would make the stay more comfortable were missing.

The rooms were always very clean, but they had a few issues: they’re on the small side, the WiFi wasn’t very fast or stable, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut because it had no lock. The restaurant, though, was great, with really good traditional German food.

The restaurant downstairs looked fine, but the prices seemed pretty steep at first. The food made it worth it: big portions and excellent taste. I had grilled octopus, a pulpo dish whose full name I can’t remember, and it was delicious. I’d come back just for the restaurant. Our room was in a separate building across the way. The hall was a bit dark and the room was decent, but in summer I really missed having a fan. As an Asian guest, not having AC felt like a missed opportunity, though I understand it’s a common issue in European hotels.

We had an incredible dinner with wonderful service, and the lively, interesting "Keller" connected to the hotel was a great place to eat. Our room was really lovely too, and the price was great for the quality. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel and restaurant, whether you want a nice place to stay in the area or a romantic evening like we did. Five out of five.
