A very enjoyable hotel, with first-rate rooms and a good restaurant. A good choice in Pirmasens.

The wine suggestions were great value, and breakfast was good, a solid standard. I wanted to try the bar, but it was overflowing. I guess that's a good sign, though I can't say from personal experience. The four-course menu was pretty decent, but I couldn't understand why a table of seven got plates and food at three different temperatures. They call themselves "Superior" this and that. The mattress was way too soft, and the pillows were flat.

I travel here for business twice a year. The service is great, the food is good, the rooms are very clean, and room service is perfect.

This lovely hotel is run by the Kunz family, who are from Winzeln and know the area and its history well. The staff are warm and professional. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice beds and bathrooms. My room looked out over the street in front of the hotel, with a pleasant view and plenty of fresh air. The restaurant serves excellent local cuisine, and the staff provide very good service. They also offer local wines and beers. I highly recommend the Hotel-Restaurant Kunz in Pirmasens-Winzeln, Germany.
