The owners were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and the apartment at Alte Knabenschule was just right for our group of two or three. It has a double bed and a sofa bed, plus a cozy, well-equipped kitchen. We used the two drinking water fountains right beside the building often. The building is right in Pirna’s old town, with the Elbe River, Malerweg, and other sights easy to reach from there. Parking in the garages is very affordable, especially for a longer stay and hiking the Malerweg. We paid only €20 for ten days. Highly recommended.

We spent a week in the “Emilio” apartment in autumn and would gladly come back. It’s right in the lovely city center, with a view of St. Mary's Church. The place is furnished and equipped so you feel at home straight away, and the landlady is extremely friendly and accommodating. Five out of five.

The Erlpeter Fountain beside the house is a special touch. Fresh spring water right at your doorstep, how often do you get that? The holiday apartment in the old boys’ school sits right in Pirna’s historic center, at the foot of the castle hill. It’s in the middle of everything but still pleasantly quiet, and the new furnishings work well with the old building’s charm. Many thanks to the landlady for a lovely stay in Pirna.

Watch out, the caretaker seems to hate dogs. Adding factual details in this edit: my dog peed on the street about 10 meters away. After that, the man made what I felt were arbitrary accusations and followed me to Málaga, about 100 meters away, while threatening to kill me and insulting me. It was a sad spectacle. Shouting things like “Get out of here! I’ll find you and kill you!” across town is hardly professional.
