The breakfasts were delicious, and one morning the staff kindly packed one for us when we had an early departure. We stayed here at both ends of our hiking trip, and the management was easy to communicate with. They also stored our luggage for us, which we really appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and will definitely return. It’s great value, right in the historic town center. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean, and tidy, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious too.

I’ve been coming back twice a year since 2018, and this place still feels like a gem. A few rooms can be tricky to find, but everything else is just right. And those German bread rolls at breakfast, what a treat!

We left our car in the on-site garage for a fee while hiking the Painters' Way, and stayed at the hotel both before and after the hike a few weeks ago. Room No. 1 was lovely, though a little small, and it was surprisingly quiet despite the central location. The staff, service, and breakfast were all excellent.

The furnishings give this centrally located guesthouse a lot of charm, and the staff were friendly and helpful, with a real enthusiasm for their work. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the delicious breakfast. The Christmas market was just a quick walk away, and we’ll definitely come back.
