The breakfast was a real highlight, with a small but excellent buffet, wonderful juices, and fresh pastries from the bakery next door. The selection varied each day. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a bathroom that had plenty of storage. This family-run hotel sits right in the heart of Plau am See, central but still pleasantly quiet. The restaurant was only open seasonally, but its food was delicious. Thoughtful little details throughout the hotel made it feel especially cozy and welcoming. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would love to return.

We celebrated my mother's, grandmother's, and great-grandmother's 85th birthday on August 30th, and the whole family was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere, food, and warmth made it a wonderful celebration. We'd also like to thank you again for the lovely days at Haus Sajons. The central spot in the beautiful old town was a favorite, just steps from the historic drawbridge, harbor, and several nice restaurants. We even got to enjoy a 90s summer party at the hotel, with delicious food and drinks. The owner and staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our modern, comfortable room was great, and breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared. They promptly arranged the special type of bread we asked for. We felt very comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

Everything came together for a wonderful stay, and I'd definitely recommend this place. The manager and staff were very friendly, relaxed, and accommodating. Breakfast was more than sufficient, and the restaurant food was truly delicious. Thank you!

Maria is a wonderful host. You can tell straight away how much heart and soul she puts into running the hotel. The center of Plau is about a five-minute walk away, and we stayed here as a couple for four nights in July. Breakfast was superb, with fresh rolls and bread from the local bakery each day. It was beautifully laid out, with a lovely choice of cheeses and cold cuts, not from a discount store, plus fruit and vegetables. The whole place is furnished with care. In the cozy courtyard, there's a fridge with cold drinks and an honesty box for a nightcap. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Best wishes from Potsdam, Guido and Cindy.
