Pension Wesertal

The breakfast was made to order, with great coffee and even a newspaper Mr. Pape had arranged for me. I’d stopped at Pension Wesertal on the spur of the moment while cycling the Weser Cycle Path, and the owner was so warm and welcoming. My room was roomy, the firm bed was just right, and everything was spotless. It’s a well-kept guesthouse in a quiet, handy spot. Very charming.

The breakfast buffet was generous, and the rooms were kept in impeccable shape. Mr. Pape was a really friendly host, too. I travel a lot for work, so I’ll keep this place in mind and would happily stay again. For this price range, it’s one of the best guesthouses I’ve been to lately.

The only real downside was hearing the guest next door snore pretty loudly. Thicker walls, or a pair of earplugs, would have helped. Still, it’s a lovely, very clean guesthouse, with a great breakfast and friendly people. I’d definitely book here again if I’m in the area.

Breakfast was outstanding, fresh rolls, plenty of cold cuts and eggs, and all the coffee you wanted. The host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our room matched the pictures and was perfectly fine for a few nights, and the well-kept beds made for a great sleep. There’s free parking right in front of the house. Wi-Fi wasn’t offered to us, though I’m sure it’s available if you ask. Highly recommended, we’ll be back.
