So quiet in the woods, and the staff were really nice. I ended up extending my stay by one night.

We were waiting to get our broken car fixed, and this peaceful place in the forests of west Germany gave us such a warm welcome. The team were lovely, friendly, and helpful. Most local shops and restaurants are within a 15-minute drive, while scenic views are about an hour’s walk away. There are historic sites and breathtaking monuments nearby, too. It works well as a stop on a business trip, but would be even better for making holiday memories. I’d come back.

We stayed for 3 days. The bathroom smelled bad, and there was mold on the walls. The hotel really needs renovation, since everything is old. Dust hadn’t been cleaned from the tops of the shelves or the bed frame. Otherwise, things were good.

You reach the end of the street and it’s forest from there on, such a fantastic setting. The rooms were OK, though a little old, and the crew were really friendly. Breakfast was good. I just wish there were a restaurant.

For my work trip, I spent one night in a single room. It was clean, with a balcony facing the forest and a bathtub. Breakfast was included in the hotel price.
