The restaurant is open now, though it closes on Mondays. I'll be able to say more about the food this evening. This recently built hotel has a minimalist, eco-friendly approach to its interiors and food. The shower is big enough to make up for the lack of a bidet, which is only mandatory in Italy and in hotels I've built. It takes 30-40 minutes to drive from central Berlin, but after a workday I appreciated the chance to relax here. The room has no TV or minibar, and there's total silence, with no humming transformers or compressors and no standby appliance LEDs. Just leaves moving in the wind and birds calling. You sleep wonderfully. A fantastic, well-deserved 4-star hotel.

The large patio or garden is lovely. Sitting there and looking at the lake or sky feels inspiring, and I enjoy watching the weather. It's a hotel built around a healthy, sustainable idea. The Ayurvedic food and yoga may encourage people to give their bodies a chance to connect with their minds.

The grounds are pretty, though they seemed dried out to me. It's an idyllic place, but I couldn't tell whether the hotel was open.

This is a rural hotel for relaxing, about 15 minutes from Potsdam city center. The breakfast buffet was good, and they serve Ayurvedic cuisine. Unfortunately, breakfast doesn't start until 7:30, which is too late for business travelers.
