The village is tiny but really cozy, and we had amazing walks across the fields. We also got lucky with the weather: even in winter, cycling was a pleasure, and it took 40 minutes to reach Potsdam center. In summer, it may be worth checking whether there are marriages at the castle, since they could make things noisy and less pleasant than in the off and mid-season. The main downside is getting there. It’s easier by car, though being out of the way also makes the place really quiet. We liked it a lot. Service was above average for Berlin and Brandenburg, and the rooms were huge and clean. The fireplace in the main hall was off one evening, but the team lit it as soon as we asked. The restaurant is highly recommended for dinner. The starters and everything from the winter menu were very good, but both desserts we tried were pretty poor. Breakfast was a very good surprise too, beautifully presented and tasty.

The location is wonderfully quiet, the staff are friendly, and the food was lovely. I’d happily stay again. My bed was comfortable, the room clean and fresh, and the shower and bathroom were nicely equipped.

A stylish, classy venue with a beautiful park area. It has a spa and a few hotel rooms, and would be perfect for family gatherings, fancy parties, or small weddings.

The setting made a great impression, and the staff were warm from check-in right through checkout. A couple of things let it down: the Wi-Fi was weak, and there was no EV charging station.
