The owners were so kind and helpful, and breakfast was just right. Each morning we wandered through the nearby forests, where we found blueberries, raspberries, and cherry trees. It felt magical. The hotel itself was immaculate, with a lovely old-world charm, history, and beauty.

I liked the quiet setting and found the room comfortable. The cozy restaurant served really good food, and there are plenty of walking trails close by. Graf is a ten-minute drive. The nearby town, with a few restaurants and shops, is a 10-15 minute walk away. A small lake with a beach is also close, about an 8-10 minute walk.

We had dinner at the Landgasthof with friends. The meal was good for the price, and the service was excellent, friendly without hovering or seeming distant. Sitting outside is the real treat, with lovely scenery around the beautiful farmhouse. Bring bug spray, though!

Dinner was the highlight for me when the restaurant was open. The food and drinks had a great selection, and both the quality and generous variety were a delight. Breakfast is served too. The family-run hotel was very clean, with comfortable beds and linens, though I wish the pillows were firmer. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean and modern, while WiFi varied depending on the room. The cottage in the woods seems to be an old hunting lodge, with wooden floors, antique touches, and updated bathrooms. The amenities work well for solo travelers or families.
