The Isar river view is lovely, and the food was really good. Parking might be a bit tricky, so it’s best to book a table ahead of time.

The daytime view is fantastic, and the Kaiserschmarrn is a dessert you shouldn’t miss. We had a great meal here, with excellent food and really fantastic service.

Trying deer for the first time was a highlight for me, I loved it. We had our Christmas party dinner on Friday evening in a private room, with plenty of lovely dishes and a very cosy atmosphere. It’s a lovely spot for traditional Bavarian food.

The terrace is large and looks out over the Isar river, a nice setting for lunch or dinner. Just avoid sitting by the railing if you’re afraid of heights. The menu has German classics like schnitzel, and I’d book a table for a summer weekend dinner.

The terrace is quite nice, and the place would suit lunch, dinner, or just a glass of wine. But my chicken dinner was raw. It arrived only 12 minutes after I ordered, so I’m not sure it could have been properly cooked in that time. That’s why I’m giving it two stars.
