Ferienhaus am Oeringer Tor

Thanks to our hosts for a great stay. We had two wonderful days in Quetlenburg, and the apartment was clean and beautifully furnished. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely stay in this house again. We highly recommend it.

We’d like to thank the Regahl family again for the lovely accommodation. The owners were easy to reach whenever we had questions about the apartment or the area, and they helped with useful tips on outings and events. The apartment had everything we needed, and adding an extra bed at short notice was no problem. It’s small and cozy, with a supermarket about a five-minute walk away and the town center roughly ten minutes on foot.

The landlady welcomed us warmly and told us a lot about the history of the house and Quedlinburg. She also shared great tips for Advent in the courtyards. The apartment was spotlessly clean and lovingly furnished, and we felt welcome and comfortable.

We spent a wonderful week in Quedlinburg, with a great mix of history, culture, and hikes in nature. The apartment worked perfectly for us. It was quiet, especially with the windows shut, and even with them open we usually heard nothing from outside. The large Lidl supermarket is nearby, about 200m away, and had everything we needed, so we didn't look for other shops. The train station is about 600m away, making day trips easy. For example, Thale takes around 12 minutes, with trains running hourly. Five of us stayed in the building's largest apartment, on the second floor under the roof. The stairs are very steep, so it wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. Inside, the layout is very practical: a large living space with a sofa, TV, and dining table next to the new kitchenette. The main bedroom with its own bathroom is on one side, while two more bedrooms and another bathroom are on the other. One of those bedrooms is a walk-through room. The kitchen has everything you need, the bathrooms are bright, and we slept well in the beds. There are two keys, which let us split up, and there's a doorbell too. We didn't use the shared room or courtyard with playground equipment, but there's a washer and dryer there. Internet is through Freifunk Harz, and the speed is adequate for most uses.
