The staff were extremely sweet and polite. The woman on the evening shift especially made check-in and the start of our stay welcoming and easy. The room was big, with a good-sized bed, and the communal areas had a rustic feel. It was quiet, and getting around the region from there was SUPER easy. It’s a solid hotel, though the decor feels dated and isn’t the nicest. The bed took some getting used to, but maybe that’s just because it wasn’t our own. Breakfast was a little limited. I’d hoped for jam and Nutella, though that’s just my preference, so I may be biased. A destination charger would’ve been nice.

The restaurant was cosy, breakfast was good, and we liked the hotel’s design, the surrounding area, and the lake. We booked through Risskov bilferie at a low price, which included evening meals. We’re very happy we chose this hotel for our visit to Schwerin. Our room was surprisingly spacious, and it was great that the bathroom and toilet were separate.

I really liked this hotel. Five stars from me for the best gym I’ve ever come across in a hotel chain.

It had the feel of an abandoned shopping mall, and the service was poor.
