Ferien Hotel Fläming

We had a family get-together there last weekend. The food was very good, and the kitchen staff deserve thanks. Parking right in front was convenient, and our dog enjoyed walks by the horse stables and through the woods. The bedroom was spacious and very clean, with a shower that had good pressure. The hotel welcomes dogs. Some front-of-house staff seemed moody and unfriendly, though. They could use some training in how to talk to guests and make them feel welcome.

Dinner is served buffet-style, and for 19 euros you can eat as much as you like. The staff were very friendly, and it's a beautiful place close to the highway. I’d definitely come back when travelling in northern Germany, and I recommend it with confidence.

The Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room well enough to work, and water in the room wasn’t complimentary, it cost 3€. The stay at Ferien Hotel was still very good. The rooms and bathroom were spacious, and a hairdryer was provided. The bed was large and comfortable, with a big fluffy pillow, and the surroundings were very quiet. Both dinner and breakfast buffets had plenty of choices, and you could make your own waffle.

The rooms were very warm, and opening the windows meant letting in a ton of flies. At breakfast, most things had run out, so you had to be quick to get coffee. The employees were very busy, and when you asked for a cocktail, they moaned.
